Workout : Developing a Routine.

Although everyone can benefit from doing a workout now and again, or going for a sporadic run, to really get in great skiing shape, you're going to want to have a routine.

Shred Flicks: Trailer Time

In this post, I'll have a collection of the trailers that drop for the 2012 ski movie premiere season in the fall

Dryland Activity: Mountain Biking Overveiw

Here is a great article from Skinet.com writer and pro backcountry skier Jeremy Benson entitled Why Mountain Biking is Good for Skiers. It points out some of the obvious and, more importantly, less obvious reasons that mountain biking is a great dryland activity for skiing.

Workouts: the Burpee

This is kind of a dorky video, but the exercise it demonstrates is extremely effective. It utilizes all parts of the body, and helps us work on our upward jumps, the bases of our "Pop" which we use while hitting jumps.

Trampolining: Tanner

Tanner Hall is one of the more impressive people in skiing. He trains like a mad man, and loves every second of it. Why? Because like all of us freestyle skiers and snowboarders, our "training" is just as much fun as shredding.

Water Ramping: Kaya and Grete

Watch Kaya Turski, Heather McPhie and Grete Eliassen train in the summer. Notice how, athough they compete in different events, their training regiment is extremely similar.

Shred Flick: Nike Chosen

Time for some killer mini shred action.

Shred Flick: TGP vol 1, 2, 3 & 4

Andreas Hatveit has been my all time favorite park skier for as long as I've had an all time favorite park skier. Both stylish and competent, he can do every trick ever done, as demonstrated by this video.
