Water Ramping

Water ramping is essential to competitive freeskiers as it gives us the opportunity to try new tricks in a low impart environment before trying them on snow. Additionally, water ramps are a necessity for mogul skiers who want to qualify new tricks for future contests.

Although some facilities have "open ramps", most require athletes to be affiliated with a team and a qualified coach in order to use the ramps. The Sugarbush Freestyle Team offers two water ramp camps during the summer with Head Coach Johnathan "Smitty" Smith (for sign-up/ dates check sugarbushfreestyleteam.com).  These camps allow athletes to work with coaches to get the most out of there time at the water ramps.

The articles I post here should get you excited to come to our camps and learn new tricks as
well as hang out with friends from the team.
