Shred Flicks : Skiing Websites

Lets face the facts; you're going to be wasting time on your computer at some point this summer...

...might as well be skiing related time wasting. From videos to articles to overly-heated forums, theses sites will help with some of those summertime blues. You probably know at least a few of these, but its always worth visiting these guys on a rainy day.

Freeskier.com :
- Just like the magazine, freeskier has news, articles, and photos of all aspects of freesking.
- Check out Monday Morning Wake-Up Call (MMWUC) every Monday for a rundown of the best videos of the week.

Newschoolers.com
- Park skiing central. Beware of tall-tee thugs, foul language and other illicit behaviors.
- The home page has the more popular videos, photos and forums right on it.
- DON'T get involved with the forums, they are rife with slander, trolls, and hatred. check them out but don't get personally involved.

Tetongravity.com
- The home for Teton Gravity Research films, this is the big mountain equivalent of newschoolers..
- The forums here are slightly more civil, and have great info on mountain/ avalanche conditions.

xgames/espn.com
- With a surprisingly large amount of original material, espn is worth a visit once a week at least.
- While you're check out espn snowboarding, for a more well rounded snowsport education.

Brobomb.com
- The anti-skiing skiing website. Snarkyness hits an all time high here.
- The Know Your Roots has lots of free, full length ski movies. Do yourself a favor and watch one once a week and you will get more respect from coaches then you ever though possible.

USSA.org
- Manage your membership, get info on the US teams, and check national ranking. This site is pretty expansive and requires a lot of searching of hidden gems.
- The Center of Excellence TV has tons of instructional videos, some of which can be found on this blog! Check it out for workout ideas and to see what drills you'll likely be doing this winter.

SBCskier.com
- The Canadian alternative to freeskier

Downdays.eu
- The euro alternative to newschoolers

There are more out there, so search around and report back with any new finds!
